Application Standards

DUO-SIL® Urethane Acrylic Sealant meets or exceeds the standard specifications for latex sealants. ASTM C-834-00, type C, Grade O°C.

Basic Uses

DUO-SIL® acrylic urethane sealant is a specially formulated high performance acrylic and urethane emulsion sealant that can be used as a sealant and adhesive for bonding most common building substances.Use to fill butt joints in vinyl cement and aluminum siding, windows, doors, brick, moldings, counter tops, and most areas where a sealant is needed. DUO-SIL® is paintable and will not degrade polystyrene beed board. DUO-SIL® as an adhesive has superior bond to most building substrates. It adheres to wood, metal, concrete, gypsum board, vinyl board, cove base, moldings, foam board and more.

Packaging

Availabile in 10.3 fl. oz. (305 mil) plastic cartridges with 4” screw on nozzle. There are 12 cartridges per case, and 140 cases per pallet.

Limitations

• DO NOT apply below 35° F or when rain or freezing temperatures may occur within 24 hours. Apply when sealant and surface tempatures are between 45° F and 90° F.
• Not recommended for log homes.
• Not recommended for prolonged emersion in standing water.
• Keep from freezing – store at room tempature.

Clean up

Clean up with soap and water.

Notification of any claim must be sent in writing to Siroflex, Inc. The notice should contain a statement as to how the product failed to meet our warranty, the proof of purchase and the amount of refund claimed.
